A new film featuring the UFC universe is coming to theaters.
According to a press release, Zack Snyder will co-write and direct Brawler. This movie will tell the story of a man from Los Angeles who climbs the ranks in the UFC, while “battling his inner demons as he fights for redemption.” Turki Alashikh, a partner in TKO’s new boxing promotion, will co-produce the film.
Currently, no information about the cast or the release date has been announced.
Dana White stated in the press release, “His Excellency Turki Alalshikh and Zack Snyder share a vision for creating a UFC film. They are both very passionate about this project and want to show fans what it takes to become a UFC champion. It’s an incredibly ambitious project and I am excited to see it become a reality.”
Snyder`s previous directorial works include Dawn of the Dead (2004), 300 (2006), Man of Steel (2013), and Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016).
