Simone Vagnozzi, the coach of world No. 1 Jannik Sinner, has offered his opinion on German tennis player Alexander Zverev`s chances of winning a Grand Slam tournament.
Vagnozzi stated, “I am convinced that Zverev will win at least one Grand Slam. He has improved significantly since his ankle injury. He has made more progress in this period than in all the time before,” as reported by Venerdi de Repubblicca.
On April 18th, Zverev reached the semi-finals of the ATP 500 clay-court tournament in Munich, Germany. In the quarter-finals, he defeated Dutch player Tallon Griekspoor (ranked 37th in the ATP rankings) in three sets with a score of 6-7(6), 7-6(3), 6-4.
