Respected Russian coach Viktor Yanchuk believes that the 21-year-old Russian tennis player Diana Shnaider has the potential to soon enter the WTA Top 5 ranking. Just this week, Shnaider reached a new personal best, climbing to become the world number 11.
Yanchuk commented that Shnaider is considered “one of our most promising tennis players.” He added, “She has already achieved a lot in doubles alongside Mirra Andreeva, plays singles matches very effectively, and is capable of challenging the world`s leading players. She possesses enormous potential, and I truly believe she will be among the world`s top five players soon. Her left-handedness makes her a difficult opponent to face, and she hits the ball with great power and sharpness,” the coach stated.
