Highlights from the official weigh-ins for UFC Kansas City, held Friday afternoon in Kansas City, Mo., show 28 fighters successfully making weight.
The main event features a non-title welterweight bout between top contenders Ian Machado Garry and Carlos Prates. Both fighters successfully weighed in under the 171-pound limit. Garry, ranked globally, had won his first eight UFC fights before a recent loss to Shavkat Rakhmonov at UFC 310.
Prates boasts an impressive 4-0 record within the UFC, with all victories coming via knockout.
Weigh-ins for the main and co-main events were completed, including former light heavyweight title challenger Anthony Smith making his final walk to the scale.
The official weigh-ins took place at 10 a.m. ET.
Ceremonial weigh-ins are scheduled for 5 p.m. ET.
