Cory Sandhagen and Deiveson Figueiredo successfully made weight and are ready for their crucial main event bout at UFC Des Moines.
The former UFC flyweight champion, Deiveson Figueiredo, takes on Sandhagen in the headliner of the event this Saturday in Iowa. Both main event fighters hit their required weights, clearing the first hurdle of fight week.
Figueiredo was among the first to weigh in during Friday`s official proceedings, successfully making the 135-pound limit. Sandhagen also made weight, coming in slightly heavier at 135.5 pounds.
In the co-main event, former ONE Championship two-division champion Reinier de Ridder weighed in at 185.5 pounds. His undefeated opponent, Bo Nickal, also successfully made the 185.5-pound limit, confirming the co-headliner is set.
Notable fighters hitting the scale included Jeremy Stephens, who returns for a lightweight contest and weighed in at 155 pounds. His opponent, Mason Jones, also making his comeback, came in slightly under the limit at 155.5 pounds.
