Preview UFC 316: Flyweight Clash Between Van and Silva Rebooked for June

An exciting flyweight bout between Joshua Van and Bruno Silva, which was previously postponed, has been rescheduled for the UFC 316 pay-per-view event in June. The fight is now set to take place on June 7th in Newark, New Jersey.

UFC 316 will be held at the Prudential Center in Newark. The main event for the card is yet to be announced by the promotion.

Van, with a record of 13-2, and Silva, who holds a 14-6-2 record with 1 No Contest, were originally scheduled to face each other on March 8th in Las Vegas. However, Silva was forced to withdraw from the fight due to multiple injuries. Van went on to defeat replacement fighter Rei Tsuruya by decision and is currently riding a three-fight win streak.

Silva, on the other hand, will be aiming to recover from a previous defeat to Manel Kape. Before this setback, the Brazilian fighter was on a strong run of four consecutive victories, earning performance bonuses for each of those wins.
