At UFC 316, held on Saturday, both Kayla Harrison and Merab Dvalishvili delivered exceptional performances that culminated in championship victories for both fighters.

In the main event of the evening, Merab Dvalishvili, the reigning Bantamweight champion, secured his second win over rival Sean O`Malley via submission. The co-main event featured Kayla Harrison, who put on a dominant display against Julianna Peña to capture the vacant Women`s Bantamweight championship.

For their outstanding efforts and championship-winning performances, both Harrison and Dvalishvili were recognized with a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.

As no Fight of the Night bonus was awarded, two additional Performance of the Night bonuses were distributed. These were given to Kevin Holland and UFC debutant Joo Sang Yoo.

Kevin Holland kicked off the main card by showcasing his grappling skills, earning a slick submission victory over Vicente Luque. This marks Holland`s ninth Performance of the Night bonus in his UFC career.

Joo Sang Yoo made an immediate and impressive statement in his first UFC fight, needing only one punch to knock out Jeka Saragih. This win keeps the South Korean fighter`s professional record perfect at 9-0.
