The Latin America Games Showcase 2026: Summer Game Fest Edition presented over 80 independent games developed across the region, with a strong presence from Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and Chile, alongside notable titles from Colombia, Peru, and Venezuela. After reviewing them all, we’ve compiled a list of the 10 games that most captured our attention during this edition of LAGS.

Now, let’s dive into the list of games from the Latin America Games Showcase 2026: Summer Game Fest Edition that we are most eager to play. They are presented in no particular order.

Tenebris Somnia

We’ve eagerly awaited this horror game from Argentina for several years, and with each glimpse, it looks more impressive. It’s a 2D survival horror with pixelated graphics that incorporates live-action scenes filmed with real actors.

It is scheduled for release in the last quarter of 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

Bulbo’s Belief System

In this peculiar game, you control a lightbulb-shaped character who must solve puzzles by only knowing four things at a time. What you don’t know can be as helpful as what you do know; for instance, if you’re unaware of gravity, it doesn’t affect you. It bears a resemblance to Baba is You and is being developed in Chile.

It will be released for PC on Steam in November 2026.

Colorbound

The concept of using colors to alter the world and solve puzzles struck the Panpipe studio in Chile during a game jam. The idea was so strong that they decided to build a full game around it. By changing the color of the environments, players can discover hidden paths, make obstacles disappear, and overcome various challenges to complete each level.

It is slated for release in August 2026 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

Tempus Vitae

Described as “the most ambitious game made in Argentina to date,” this is a first-person shooter metroidvania that grants players the ability to travel through time.

It will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on a date yet to be announced.

Ghostless

In this 2D action-adventure game, you won’t just battle an evil AI in a post-apocalyptic world inspired by Terminator. You’ll also need to recruit survivors for your guerrilla force and be cautious, as not everyone you encounter is human. Recruiting the wrong person could lead to dealing with infiltrators. It is being developed in Brazil.

It is scheduled for release for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on a date yet to be announced.

Moonlight Pale

Blue Lily studio from Mexico is developing this game, which blends horror with a deceptively adorable anime and chibi aesthetic.

Another game hailing from Chile, Bruma is a surreal platformer and puzzle game where you control a cat on a mission to recover the memories of its owner, an elderly woman seemingly in her final moments.

Black Sailors: Bay of All Saints

This naval combat strategy game is inspired by the colonial history of Brazil. Players control a group of Black sailors from various African cultures who become pirates to fight against Portuguese slavers. The game is slated for a 2027 release.

We previously discussed this title, which is being developed in Puerto Rico. It’s a metroidvania featuring remarkable abilities, such as a shield that can be used as a portal, thrown to ricochet off enemies like Captain America, and even “split the screen in two.”

It will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on a date yet to be announced.
