World No. 56 Jaume Munar of Spain shared his thoughts after defeating world No. 8 Daniil Medvedev of Russia in the second round of the Miami Masters. Munar won the match in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3.
“This victory means a lot,” Munar stated. “I feel fantastic after all the hard work I`ve put in to compete at this level. I feel very comfortable here in Miami, and I`ve been playing excellent tennis on hard courts this year. The end of the match was a bit tense, but overall, I’m very pleased with my performance.”
He added, “I`ve made many changes to my game, both technically and tactically. Everything is working very well this year. I think I need to keep improving and adapting. I need to see where my game can get better, and I believe my team and I are doing a great job with that.”
