JL Bourg : Trois Joueurs Clés Suspendus en Betclic Élite
La JL Bourg fait face à un revers majeur en Betclic Élite avec la suspension de trois de ses joueurs. Kévin Kokila, Assémian Moularé et Tajuan Agee ont chacun écopé de deux matchs fermes suite à des incidents survenus lors des 19e et 20e journées du championnat.
Ces sanctions ne sont pas isolées. D'autres clubs ont également été touchés : Boulazac voit son meneur Antoine Eïto et son pivot Ousman Krubally suspendus pour un match chacun, tandis que Marcus Keene de Strasbourg manquera deux rencontres, ayant déjà été suspendu plus tôt dans la saison.

Dans un communiqué officiel, la JL Bourg a réagi aux décisions disciplinaires rendues par la Commission Juridique, de Discipline et des Règlements de la Ligue Nationale de Basket ce mardi 17 mars 2026. La Commission a infligé une suspension de deux matchs à Kévin Kokila suite à une altercation lors du match contre Boulazac Basket Dordogne le vendredi 6 février 2026.
Une sanction identique a été prononcée pour Assémian Moularé et Tajuan Agee après un incident survenu lors de la rencontre face à la SIG Strasbourg le samedi 14 février 2026.
Ces suspensions prendront effet lors des matchs de Betclic Élite suivants :
- 25e journée : JL Bourg / Limoges CSP — 15 avril 2026
- 26e journée : JL Bourg / AS Monaco Basket — 12 avril 2026
Bien que respectueuse des instances du basketball professionnel français, la JL Bourg estime ces décisions "disproportionnées au regard des faits" et a annoncé faire appel devant la Chambre d’Appel de la Fédération Française de Basketball.
Le club déplore également que les suspensions aient été fixées simultanément pour tous les joueurs concernés. Il y voit "une rupture avec la pratique observée" lors de cette même saison et un "déséquilibre sportif incompatible avec les exigences d’équité du championnat". Ce point spécifique sera abordé dans leur recours.
La JL Bourg réaffirme son soutien total à ses joueurs, leur témoignant sa pleine confiance pour aborder la fin de saison avec le professionnalisme et l'engagement qui les caractérisent.

The Commission imposed a two-game suspension on Kévin Kokila following an altercation during the match against Boulazac Basket Dordogne on Friday, February 6, 2026.
Identical sanctions were handed down to Assémian Moularé and Tajuan Agee after an incident that took place during the game against SIG Strasbourg on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
These suspensions are scheduled for the following Betclic Élite fixtures:

- Matchday 26: JL Bourg vs. AS Monaco Basket — April 12, 2026
While expressing respect for the institutions governing French professional basketball, JL Bourg considers these decisions "disproportionate given the facts" and has announced its intention to appeal to the Appeal Chamber of the French Basketball Federation.
The club also expressed concern that all player suspensions were scheduled simultaneously. They view this as "a departure from established practice" during the current season and a "sporting imbalance incompatible with the championship's demands for fairness."
