While crossovers are a constant in the world of video games, some achieve such perfect synergy that they are undeniably appealing. Such is the case with Silent Hill f and Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake, two iconic Japanese horror games that are now joining forces in an exciting collaboration.
This bidirectional collaboration will see themed content arrive in both titles. While the update for Konami’s game is still pending, Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake players can already enjoy new items inspired by Hinako Shimizu from Silent Hill f:
- Blue Sailor School Uniform Outfit for Mio
- Masked Accessory for Mio
- Masked Accessory for Mayu
These items have been available since Thursday, March 27, 2026. You can see how they look in the screenshots below.
While this crossover content is free, it will not be automatically added to your game. You need to visit your platform’s digital store (PSN Store, Nintendo eShop, Xbox Store, or Steam) and download the free DLC.

We are eagerly awaiting more details about the second part of this collaboration, which should allow players to dress Hinako from Silent Hill f in Mio Amakura’s iconic initial outfit from Fatal Frame II.
Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake is a reimagining of the acclaimed survival horror game originally released in 2003 for PS2 and Xbox. This revamped version is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
