Sean Strickland is building a notable record when it comes to tough sparring sessions with online content creators.
Recently, the former UFC middleweight champion engaged in a sparring round with content creator Nick Nayersina at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas. Nayersina released a brief clip of the session on Twitter, and as anticipated, the outcome was heavily in Strickland`s favor.
The shared footage shows Strickland delivering a barrage of strikes, including punches, kicks, knees, and elbows, to Nayersina. To his credit, Nayersina demonstrated resilience by continuing through the session despite the pressure.
In terms of his professional fighting career, Strickland is aiming to recover following a decision loss to Dricus du Plessis at UFC 297 in January 2024, where he lost his championship title. Prior to this, he secured the middleweight belt with a significant upset victory over Israel Adesanya via a dominant decision at UFC 293 in September 2023.
