Preview Ronaldo Signs New Deal with Al-Nassr Extending Stay Until 2027

Al-Nassr has confirmed that football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has extended his contract with the Saudi Pro League club. The new agreement will keep Ronaldo at Al-Nassr until 2027, replacing his previous deal which was set to expire in the summer of 2025.

Despite widespread reports of interest from numerous clubs globally, as acknowledged by Ronaldo himself, the Portuguese superstar has committed to a new two-year term with Al-Nassr, the club he originally joined in December 2022.

Prior to Portugal`s victory in the UEFA Nations League final this past summer, the veteran forward, formerly of Manchester United, mentioned receiving interest from clubs looking to sign him, a point echoed by FIFA president Gianni Infantino regarding the FIFA Club World Cup. Ultimately, Ronaldo chose to remain in the Saudi Pro League.

Announcing the extension on his social media, Cristiano Ronaldo stated, “A new chapter begins. Same passion, same dream. Let`s make history together.”

By signing this extension, Cristiano Ronaldo signals his intention to continue his illustrious career at Al-Nassr, a move that suggests the Saudi club could potentially be his final destination before retirement.

Speaking to reporters last month, he commented on his future, saying, “I know the end of my career is near, but I will continue playing until I am happy doing it.” Ronaldo, who reached the age of 40 in February, boasts an incredible record of 956 career goals across all competitions and is universally recognized as one of football`s greatest players of all time.
