An anticipated middleweight clash has been added to the UFC 318 fight card. Finishers Ikram Aliskerov and Brunno Ferreira have agreed to face each other inside the Octagon at the upcoming pay-per-view event scheduled for July 19 in New Orleans.

Aliskerov holds a professional record of 16 wins and 2 losses. In his most recent UFC appearance in April, he delivered a dominant performance, stopping jiu-jitsu specialist Andre Muniz with a left hook just seconds before the end of the first round.

The Russian fighter`s UFC record stands at 3-1, with all three victories coming by way of first-round knockout. His only setback in the promotion was against former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker.

Ferreira, known as “Hulk,” boasts a 13-2 professional record and an impressive 100% finishing rate throughout his career, including all four of his wins in the UFC. The 32-year-old Brazilian has made a name for himself with devastating finishes, including first-round knockouts over Gregory Rodrigues, Phil Hawes, and Dustin Stoltzfus.

Ferreira recently rebounded from a 2024 submission loss to Abus Magomedov by securing a second-round armbar victory against Armen Petrosyan in March, showcasing his diverse finishing skills.

UFC 318 will be held at the Smoothie King Center. The event is headlined by a highly anticipated “BMF” title bout between Louisiana`s own Dustin Poirier and Max Holloway, which is significant as Poirier has indicated it could be his final professional fight.
