Bernardo Silva, a player of significant interest to Juventus, has put Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola in a humorous state of anticipation regarding his future decisions. Guardiola humorously expressed his ‘grumpiness’ over not being informed first about Silva’s potential next move.
With Bernardo Silva’s contract set to expire at the end of the season, Juventus is reportedly among the clubs keen on acquiring his services on a free transfer. Rumors have circulated that the Manchester City captain has already made up his mind to depart at the season’s conclusion, though neither the club nor the player has issued an official statement.
“I’m so grumpy with Bernardo Silva because one month ago I said, ‘When you take a decision, I have to be the first to be told,'” Guardiola stated during a press conference on Friday, as reported by Cityxtra. He continued with a playful tone, “‘Tell me, I deserve’, but he didn’t tell me! So I don’t know what’s going on.”
Bernardo Silva currently serves as the captain for Manchester City. This season, he has contributed three goals and five assists in 43 appearances across all competitions.
Other clubs, including Barcelona and Benfica, are also reportedly monitoring the Portuguese star. Silva himself recently hinted in an interview that he would be open to considering a move to Southern Europe.
