1974 French Open and Wimbledon finalist Olga Morozova commented on Daria Kasatkina`s transition to playing under the Australian flag.
“I know Kasatkina as a person very poorly. I cannot judge her decision. It was understandable to me when Rybakina switched to the flag of Kazakhstan, because she did not have the financial means to play. Here, much is incomprehensible, it is difficult to determine her motives. Nevertheless, you cannot change your homeland, wherever you live, you remain Russian,” Morozova said.
