The 2025 NWSL season is underway, and the power rankings are shifting after just two weeks of play. We`re already seeing some interesting movements compared to the initial rankings.
Orlando Pride looks like the team to beat, although Gotham FC`s offensive struggles might make their dominance less clear-cut. Kansas City`s impressive shutout victory over Washington Spirit definitely shakes up the top tier.
While the top spots remain relatively stable, the middle of the rankings is still very competitive. Many teams are showing potential but haven`t consistently performed at a high level yet. Some are still finding their rhythm, while others are giving glimpses of what they can achieve.
Racing Louisville experienced a significant drop this week. They couldn`t capitalize on their draw in the opening week, and the injury to midfielder Savannah DeMelo, among other absences, raises concerns about their season trajectory.
