World No. 5 Novak Djokovic has shared his excitement about competing at the Miami Masters for the first time since 2019. In his opening match, he secured a victory against Rinky Hijikata with a score of 6-0, 7-6(1).
Djokovic stated, “I am certainly happy to have the opportunity to compete and continue playing at the highest level in matches like these. It`s always a pleasure to return to such an amazing city like Miami after a six-year absence. There were so many people at the first match, and I am very, very grateful for their support.”
