Renowned coach Philippe Hervé, who has previously led prestigious French basketball teams such as Chalon, ASVEL, Orléans, Limoges, and Cholet, is set to leave LyonSO at the conclusion of the current season. His team, presently holding the 5th position in Pool B of Nationale 1 with a record of 18 wins and 10 losses, has 8 more games remaining under his guidance.
Karim Zaza – Technical Director:
“Philippe Hervé’s departure at the close of this season signifies a pivotal moment for our organization. Beyond the team’s performance, I wish to underscore the exceptional quality of his daily dedication. His professionalism, rigor, and high standards have been instrumental in enhancing our working environment. He skillfully guided our club’s development and, crucially, fostered the growth of our players, both athletically and personally. Philippe truly added significant value to our project, providing direction, consistency, and a clear purpose to our operations. His tenure will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact.
On a more personal note, I also want to express my gratitude for the relationship we cultivated – one built on open exchange, trust, and respect, which proved invaluable in my role as Technical Director. I wish him every success in his future career, confident that his talents and commitment will continue to shine.”
