In a recent unsettling incident, the UFC fighter posted a video on social media alleging that he is being tormented by “demons” and “beautiful women” in his dreams. He further suggested that his upcoming UFC 314 opponent, Jean Silva, is responsible for sending these entities to harass him.
Mitchell`s bizarre statements follow his earlier controversial remarks where he defended Adolf Hitler and denied the reality of the Holocaust. Although Mitchell issued a public apology for those comments, he was met with loud boos from fans at a recent UFC 314 press conference, where he was also verbally confronted by Silva.
Putting aside this strange situation, Mitchell and Silva are scheduled to resolve their differences inside the octagon when they face each other on April 12 in Miami.
