The captivating puzzle game Pulmo, already known on other platforms and PC, is preparing for its launch on Nintendo Switch, courtesy of Sometimes You. Created by Emil Ismaylov and Denis Petrov, this title invites players to guide a solitary character through a universe populated by anonymous masses.
Pulmo represents the second installment of a trilogy that delves into the human odyssey, being the spiritual successor to Alveole. The game proposes a reflection on individual behavior within society, encouraging each player to discover their purpose. The core mechanic revolves around manipulating the environment to alter the interactions of the crowd by solving ingenious spatial puzzles. The response of these crowds is dynamic: sometimes they will offer help, while at other times they will present an obstacle, always depending on the player’s decisions.
Embark on an introspective journey with Pulmo, where a solitary protagonist faces enigmatic challenges in the presence of silent crowds. The gameplay experience moves away from competitive pressure; there are no hasty victories or defeats, but rather a serene exchange between the player and the virtual world. It is a concise yet profound voyage, designed to be savored with attention, like a fleeting and precious moment.
Among Pulmo‘s prominent features are a distinctive visual style that fuses 3D graphics with minimalist hand-drawn illustrations, an immersive soundtrack and audio effects that enrich the experience, a wide variety of puzzles with increasing complexity levels, and an engaging narrative unfolded through cinematic scenes and level design.
This anticipated title will be available for Nintendo Switch starting April 3rd.
