Michael Morales is making significant waves in the UFC. The undefeated fighter improved his professional record to 18-0 by securing his sixth straight victory inside the Octagon at UFC Vegas 106 on Saturday night. He dramatically knocked out Gilbert Burns in the first round, earning him his second consecutive `Performance of the Night` bonus.
Morales had previously received a bonus for his knockout win over Neil Magny at UFC Vegas 96 back in August.
Other fighters recognized for their performances at the event include Denise Gomes, who also received a `Performance of the Night` bonus for her second-round knockout of Elise Reed, and Melquizael Costa vs. Julian Erosa, who earned `Fight of the Night` honors for their bout, which Costa won by unanimous decision (29-28 x3).
