Hace unas semanas se anunció la Marvel MaXimum Collection, una nueva recopilación de Limited Run Games que trae 13 títulos clásicos de Marvel para arcade, consolas y portátiles. Ahora se ha confirmado la fecha de lanzamiento, ¡y no falta mucho!
Esta esperada colección estará disponible para PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch y PC (a través de Steam) a partir del viernes 27 de marzo de 2026.
Aunque se mencionan 13 títulos, la colección en realidad consta de seis juegos principales, de los cuales se incluyen diferentes versiones, algunas con variaciones significativas entre sí.
Los juegos que forman parte de esta compilación son:
- X-Men: The Arcade Game
- Spider-Man/X-Men: Arcade’s Revenge
- Captain America and the Avengers
- Spider-Man/Venom: Maximum Carnage
- Venom/Spider-Man: Separation Anxiety

Además de los juegos, la Marvel MaXimum Collection ofrece extras digitales como escaneos de alta resolución de portadas y manuales originales, anuncios de época, las bandas sonoras completas de todos los juegos, desafíos exclusivos, un menú de trucos y otras funcionalidades.
Limited Run Games también lanzará una edición física, aunque su preventa se abrirá más tarde, del 27 de marzo al 24 de mayo de 2026, y no estará disponible en el lanzamiento digital.
Marvel MaXimum Collection: Release Date Confirmed
A few weeks ago, the Marvel MaXimum Collection was announced, a new compilation from Limited Run Games bringing together 13 classic Marvel titles from arcade, console, and handheld platforms. The release date has now been confirmed, and it’s not far off!
This highly anticipated collection will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam) starting Friday, March 27, 2026.
While 13 titles are mentioned, the collection actually comprises six main games, with different versions included, some featuring significant variations.
The games included in this compilation are:
- X-Men: The Arcade Game
- Spider-Man/X-Men: Arcade’s Revenge
- Captain America and the Avengers
- Spider-Man/Venom: Maximum Carnage
- Venom/Spider-Man: Separation Anxiety
- Silver Surfer
In addition to the games, the Marvel MaXimum Collection offers digital extras such as high-resolution scans of original cover art and manuals, vintage advertisements, complete soundtracks for all games, exclusive challenges, a cheats menu, and other features.
Limited Run Games will also release a physical edition, though its pre-orders will open later, from March 27 to May 24, 2026, and it will not be available at the digital launch.
