The UEFA Champions League Final, scheduled to take place at Allianz Arena in Munich, will feature rock band Linkin Park as the headlining musical act for the Kick Off Show, presented by Pepsi.
Returning to the music scene with their new album `From Zero`—their first release in seven years—the band is set to perform ahead of the highly anticipated match. They will also debut a new remix during their set. Pre-match performances have become a regular highlight of the final, with Lenny Kravitz headlining the show in 2024.
Expressing their excitement, Linkin Park stated, “With our new album and ongoing tour, we`ve been overwhelmed by the fans` energy and excitement. We can`t wait to share that same energy and excitement at the UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show presented by Pepsi. This marks a totally new experience for us as a band, and we`re excited to share some of our favorite songs from the past and present, with the thousands in the crowd and millions watching around the world.”
Recognized as the only rock band to exceed two billion yearly streams, Linkin Park`s performance will be a celebration of their extensive catalog and their new musical direction.
The band`s current lead singer is Emily Armstrong. Emily, originally from Los Angeles, joined Linkin Park on September 5, 2024. She stepped into the role previously held by the band`s iconic frontman, Chester Bennington, who tragically passed away in 2017 at the age of 41. Chester joined the group in 1999 and was integral to their rise to global fame with hit tracks such as `In the End` and `Crawling`. Prior to joining Linkin Park, Emily Armstrong had recorded and performed with artists including The Offspring and Beck.
