Thierry Guibert, the Chief Executive Officer of Lacoste, expressed his belief that tennis superstar Novak Djokovic intends to continue playing professionally into 2028.
Djokovic`s current endorsement agreement with the renowned apparel manufacturer is scheduled to conclude at the end of 2025.
“Novak wants to play at least until the Los Angeles Olympics [in 2028]. I am confident that we will find a mutual agreement in the coming weeks. The structure of the contract renewal is the main topic of discussion. Since we began our partnership with him, he has won half of his major titles while wearing our gear. He has contributed significantly to the brand,” Guibert was quoted as stating by L’Équipe.
