Preview Kennedy Nzechukwu out of UFC Vegas 105, Martin Buday gets new opponent

Kennedy Nzechukwu has been removed from his fight against Martin Buday scheduled for this weekend.

Originally set to face Buday in a main card match at UFC Vegas 105 this Saturday, Nzechukwu was withdrawn from the bout, as announced by the UFC on Thursday. Uran Satybaldiev, who is undefeated, will now replace him to fight Buday in a heavyweight contest. The reason for Nzechukwu`s withdrawal has not been disclosed.

Satybaldiev is the current LFA light heavyweight champion. In 2024, he secured an interim title by defeating Bruno Assis in the fourth round. He then claimed the undisputed title just a month ago, submitting Leon Soares in the third round with a kimura, bringing his professional record to 9-0.

Buday entered the UFC in 2021 through the Contender Series and has achieved considerable success, holding a 5-1 record within the promotion. His most recent fight was at UFC 303, where he won a split decision against former heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski in what marked the final UFC fight for Arlovski.
