Australian Nick Kyrgios, the 2022 Wimbledon finalist and winner of seven ATP titles, has spoken out after his defeat to Russian Karen Khachanov in the second round of the Miami Masters. Kyrgios lost the match 6-7(3), 0-6.
In a social media post, Kyrgios commented: “Honestly, today was a big step forward. Karen was just too good. We played a great first set, but I`m happy that I was able to complete two matches this week! There`s still work to be done. Thanks to my friend, and best of luck to Karen for the rest of the tournament.”
