Italian media sources indicate that Juventus has initiated an inquiry regarding the availability of Darwin Nunez, the former Liverpool forward. Nunez had previously garnered interest from several Serie A clubs before his move to Al-Hilal last summer.
Juventus Exploring Darwin Nunez Deal
Reports suggest that Juventus has approached Al-Hilal to gather information about Nunez’s current status. The Uruguayan international has registered six goals and four assists in 16 appearances for the Saudi Pro League side this season.
Nunez initially transferred to Liverpool in the summer of 2022 in a deal worth €75 million, with potential add-ons increasing it to €100 million. However, he subsequently joined Al-Hilal the following summer for a reported €53 million, a fee that could rise to €65 million. His contract with Al-Hilal runs until the summer of 2028, meaning he will have two years remaining on his deal at the conclusion of the 2025-26 campaign.
Before his move to Saudi Arabia, Nunez was a frequently discussed target for various Italian clubs, with Napoli and AC Milan particularly noted among the interested parties.

Juventus’s attacking department appears set for a significant reshuffle during the upcoming summer transfer window. The future of Dusan Vlahovic remains uncertain, as his current contract expires at the end of the season, although a renewal deal is still a possibility. Additionally, players such as Jonathan David and Lois Openda are reportedly candidates for departure should appropriate offers materialize, suggesting a broader restructuring of the team’s forward options.
