Jon Jones is teaming up with Mike Perry.
Dirty Boxing Championship announced on Friday that the UFC heavyweight champion and former light heavyweight champion has become a co-owner of the combat sports promotion.
“I was hooked from the first show,” Jones said in the announcement. “I believe this is going to be a powerhouse of combat sports. I’m proud to put my name behind it.”
This move also continues Jones’ partnership with managers Malki and Abe Kawa, who co-founded Dirty Boxing with Perry in 2024. The Dirty Boxing rules include fighters using five-ounce gloves, with elbows and some ground-and-pound allowed.
Dirty Boxing’s next event is on Saturday, featuring a main event between former UFC middleweight title challenger Yoel Romero and Ras Hylton in a heavyweight fight. Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski will compete in the co-main event against Terrance Hodges.
Jones is expected to attend Saturday’s event in Miami.
Jones’ UFC career is currently paused as fans wait to see if he will agree to a fight with interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall. Jones has often dismissed Aspinall as a worthy opponent, preferring a fight with Alex Pereira, who recently lost his light heavyweight title to Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 313.
