Former UFC strawweight queen Jessica Andrade is set to return to the 115-pound division for a clash against Loopy Godinez at UFC 319. The anticipated pay-per-view event is scheduled for August 16th at the United Center in Chicago.
UFC 319 will feature a prominent middleweight title fight as champion Dricus Du Plessis defends his belt against the undefeated Khamzat Chimaev in the main event.
Andrade (26-14) has recent success at strawweight, securing knockout victories over Mackenzie Dern and a decision win against Marina Rodriguez. However, her return to 115 pounds follows consecutive losses in the flyweight division to Natalia Silva and Jasmine Jasudavicius.
Loopy Godinez (13-5) is coming off a decision victory over Julia Polastri in March, which helped her bounce back from defeats to Mackenzie Dern and Virna Jandiroba. The former LFA champion holds a 8-5 record in the UFC since her debut in 2021, including notable wins against Tabatha Ricci and Cynthia Calvillo.
