Fighter Focus
Jeremy Stephens makes a notable return to the UFC octagon, marking his first appearance since suffering a quick 65-second submission defeat to Mateusz Gamrot back at UFC Vegas 31 in July 2021. In the interim, Stephens explored opportunities across various combat sports platforms, including PFL, Gamebred Boxing, and notably, finding considerable success in the bare-knuckle boxing scene. Competing in BKFC, “Lil` Heathen” amassed an impressive 3-0 record, highlighted by a dominant stoppage victory over fellow veteran Eddie Alvarez at KnuckleMania 5 in January. This fight represents a rare chance for Stephens to compete in front of his hometown crowd in Des Moines, Iowa.
Mason Jones also steps back into the UFC cage for the first time since his July 2022 loss to Ludovit Klein. Following this setback, the 30-year-old Welsh fighter returned to the highly competitive regional circuit with Cage Warriors. During his tenure there, Jones put together a strong performance, securing four consecutive wins, three of which came by way of finish. This successful run on the regional scene proved instrumental in earning him another shot and paving his way back to the global stage of the UFC.
