Three-time Grand Slam champion Jannik Sinner shared his thoughts on his preparation for Wimbledon 2025 following his defeat in the emotional French Open 2025 final.

“I am ready to play,” said Sinner. “What happened in the past is in the past – I`m doing well now. Mentally, I am in good shape. It was different in Halle because I had very little time to reset, but now that`s all behind me. Honestly, I read a lot about the high level of that final match, and it was a privilege to be a part of it. I am working hard and I`m well-prepared for the grass season; I hope to demonstrate that on the court.”

Sinner also commented on the recent separation from his fitness coach Marco Panichi and physiotherapist Ulises Badio, which occurred just days before the start of Wimbledon 2025.

“Nothing dramatic happened. It`s simply that after Halle, I felt I needed some changes within the team,” he explained. “This hasn`t affected me; I am ready to compete. We worked very well together, and I am extremely grateful for everything they did, but I just decided I needed something different. That`s the sole reason, there`s nothing more to it.”

Panichi and Badio had joined Sinner`s team in September 2024 after Umberto Ferrara and Giacomo Naldi departed the Italian`s staff. Previously, Panichi and Badio worked with Novak Djokovic.
