World No. 23 Jakub Menšík shared his thoughts after defeating Ben Shelton 6/1, 6/4 in the third round of the Madrid Masters.
When you play against a guy with a powerful serve like yours, what solutions do you have to find?
“Honestly, I don`t know,” Menšík replied in a courtside interview. “Today my returning was excellent. Although Ben, of course, can serve even better. At this altitude, and on the fastest clay court, returning his serve was not easy. I knew he wasn`t in his best form, and neither was I, but I still tried to give my maximum. I`m glad I could win. We`ll see what happens in the next match.”
