World No. 6 Jack Draper commented on the power outage at the Madrid tournament. Yesterday`s day of play was not completed due to widespread issues that affected not only Spain but also other European countries.

“I actually enjoyed it,” Draper said. “I`m a bit of a minimalist. It`s actually so nice when there are no phones and all that other rubbish going on in the world. You just try to focus on what`s important.”

“In the end, I read about 10 pages of a book. I usually don`t read at all, so that was interesting,” Draper added in an on-court interview after Matteo Berrettini`s withdrawal.
