British tennis player Jack Draper (currently ranked around World No. 40) commented on his fourth-round defeat to Kazakhstan`s Alexander Bublik (World No. 62) at Roland Garros, the French Open. The match concluded with Bublik winning 7/5, 3/6, 2/6, 4/6.
At the subsequent press conference, Draper stated: “I`m incredibly disappointed with the outcome of this match. Before the clay season started, I had very few wins on this surface. However, I came into Roland Garros feeling good and felt my level was increasing. Right now, it`s very tough for me to take this loss. Despite rising rapidly in the rankings this year and reaching a good position, I`ve always had many adversities, injuries, and tough moments. This match was another such challenge. I intend to learn from this, get better, and use this experience.”
