IO Interactive has announced the termination of its publishing partnership with developer Build A Rocket Boy for the single-player action-adventure game, MindsEye. Build A Rocket Boy will now assume full publishing responsibility. Consequently, the planned Hitman crossover event for MindsEye has been cancelled.
IOI Partners’ involvement with MindsEye is concluding, apart from essential transitional duties required to officially transfer publishing responsibilities to Build A Rocket Boy. Build A Rocket Boy will take over exclusive publishing duties, ensuring continuity for the MindsEye community and all partners. Both companies are working closely to ensure a smooth transition in the coming weeks.
Due to this separation, the Hitman mission, which was announced for June 2025 as a crossover event within MindsEye, will not be released. However, Build A Rocket Boy plans to collaborate with other partners on future projects. Both IOI Partners and Build A Rocket Boy acknowledge the community’s anticipation for this collaboration and appreciate the players’ support.
MindsEye was released on June 10, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store).
