Former world number six, Hubert Hurkacz, has confirmed he will not participate in the upcoming Wimbledon Championships.
The Polish player cited fluid accumulation in his knee joint as the reason for his withdrawal. This condition is a consequence of surgery he underwent a year ago, following a fall during the previous edition of the British Major.
Notably, Borna Coric had also previously withdrawn from the tournament. Their places in the main draw will be filled by lucky losers.
