While Genshin Impact’s Version 6.5 has just launched, leaks for the upcoming Version 6.6 (Luna V) are already surfacing, revealing significant details. Expected to arrive on May 19, 2026, this update will introduce new characters: Nicole, Prune, and Lohen.
Nicole: Pyro Catalyst Support
Nicole, a prominent member of the Hexenzirkel and an ancient angel with extensive knowledge of Teyvat’s history, is revealed as a Pyro Catalyst support character. Speculation suggests she could be the long-awaited alternative to Bennett.
Her Elemental Skill deals AoE Pyro damage, boosts allies’ Attack, and grants a shield whose effectiveness scales with Nicole’s ATK. Her Elemental Burst doubles teammates’ attacks, becoming even more potent when combined with other taumaturgic characters (after unlocking her taumaturgic ability). Additionally, her Passive Skill summons a Seelie to guide the player, similar to the Treasure Compass (requires prior unlocking).
Prune: 4-star Anemo Catalyst
Prune, a 4-star character, will wield a Catalyst and possess an Anemo Vision.
With her Elemental Skill, she swings a Hammer that generates whirlwinds, whose properties change when combined with other elements. Her Elemental Burst utilizes a Witch-Captivating Bell to maintain a continuous Anemo effect. She can also transform into a taumaturgic character upon completing a specific quest.
Lohen: 5-star Cryo Polearm
The final character leaked for Version 6.6 is Lohen, a five-star member of the Knights of Favonius, who will use a Polearm and master the Cryo element.
Lohen’s Elemental Skill accumulates ‘exultation’ to activate a special secondary ability, ‘Engraved to the Core,’ which imbues him with Cryo. Other nearby team members can grant him ‘enthusiasm’ to boost the damage of this ability. His Elemental Burst consumes all accumulated ‘entusiasmo’ to inflict massive Cryo damage.
Additional Content in Version 6.6
Beyond the new characters, Genshin Impact’s Version 6.6 (Luna V) will also introduce Lauma and Flins cards for the Genius Invokation TCG minigame, a new combat minigame featuring our favorite shiba inu, and an Energy Recharge artifact set that enhances the elemental damage bonus for taumaturgic characters.
