Preview Gavin Tucker to Replace Trevor Peek at UFC 315

A featherweight match has been added to the UFC 315 event.

UFC officials announced that Gavin Tucker will return to the Octagon to fight JeongYeong Lee on May 10 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. This event is a pay-per-view.

JeongYeong Lee will still compete around his original schedule. He was initially supposed to fight Trevor Peek at UFC Des Moines, but Peek had to withdraw due to a fractured leg. Lee, 29 years old, will be making his fourth appearance in the Octagon. He is aiming to rebound from his first defeat in seven years – a knockout loss to Hyder Amil last July at UFC Vegas 94.

Tucker is stepping in on short notice, less than a month before the event, to fight in his home country. This will be his first fight in nearly two years. The 38-year-old fighter will be making only his third appearance in the last four years and wants to get back to winning after two consecutive first-round stoppage losses against Diego Lopes and Dan Ige.

The main event of UFC 315 is a welterweight title fight between Belal Muhammad and Jack Della Maddalena.
