Florian Thauvin, born on January 26, 1993, in Orléans, is a French international footballer. Primarily an attacking midfielder who can also operate as a winger, he began his professional career after being developed at Grenoble. His talent truly blossomed during his time at Bastia, which paved the way for his move to Olympique de Marseille in 2013, despite a transfer controversy involving Lille.
After a brief spell with Newcastle United, Thauvin returned to OM in 2017, later venturing to play in Mexico. In the summer of 2025, he marked his comeback to Ligue 1, signing with RC Lens. A key member of the French national team, he was part of the squad that famously won the FIFA World Cup in 2018.
