Fiorentina is actively seeking a new head coach for the upcoming season, with Turkish media suggesting that Fabio Paratici has reached out to Fenerbahce’s manager, Domenico Tedesco. The Tuscan club is already preparing for the future, as their current coach, Paolo Vanoli, is not expected to continue beyond the present term, irrespective of the team’s Serie A standing.
Domenico Tedesco Emerges as Key Fiorentina Coaching Candidate

Newly appointed director Fabio Paratici is leading the search for a suitable successor, with Tedesco recently surfacing as a prominent name. Despite his Italian heritage, the 40-year-old coach spent most of his early life in Germany, establishing his coaching career with clubs like Schalke 04 and RB Leipzig before taking on the role of Belgium national team manager from 2023 to 2025.
Tedesco took the helm at Fenerbahce on September 9, following the dismissal of Jose Mourinho. Under his guidance, the team has recorded an impressive 24 victories, 11 draws, and just five losses.

Reports from the Turkish news outlet Fanatik indicate that Paratici has initiated discussions with Tedesco regarding a potential move to Fiorentina for the upcoming campaign. Tedesco’s existing contract with Fenerbahce is set to run until June 2027.
