World No. 18 Elina Svitolina expressed her excitement about reaching the final of the tournament in Rouen. She is set to compete for the title against Serbian player Olga Danilovic.
In an interview on the court, Svitolina mentioned, “Gael [Monfils] said at the start of the tournament that if I reached the final, he would come to support me. It became a significant motivation for me. So, it looks like he will be here tomorrow to cheer me on.”
