Preview Dominick Cruz Steps In for Joe Rogan on UFC 315 Broadcast

Joe Rogan will not be part of the broadcast team for UFC 315 taking place in Montreal, Canada. He has followed through on his previous commitment not to travel to Canada for events, leading to a change in the commentary lineup for the upcoming pay-per-view.

Former UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz has been tapped to serve as the third man in the booth. He will join play-by-play commentator Jon Anik and UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier to call the fights.

UFC officials have confirmed this broadcast team configuration for the Montreal event.

Rogan, known for typically not traveling to international locations for fight broadcasts, had previously stated his position regarding visiting Canada during a recent episode of his podcast, indicating his preference for other international destinations instead.

Cruz`s addition to the commentary team comes for a card headlined by the welterweight title defense between champion Belal Muhammad and challenger Jack Della Maddalena.

In the co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko will compete for the women`s flyweight title against French striker Manon Fiorot.

Rounding out the broadcast personnel on the ground in Montreal is Brendan Fitzgerald, who is set to work as the reporter covering the event live.

UFC 315 is scheduled for May 10th from Montreal. The main card is expected to begin at 10 p.m. ET, airing live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
