Excitement is high for Diablo IV’s upcoming DLC expansion, Lord of Hatred, with players eager for new loot and a deeper dive into the story of Mephisto’s return. While the December 2025 showcase offered glimpses of the new Skovos region and a cinematic trailer featuring Akarat possessed by the Lord of Hatred, more information is on the horizon. Blizzard has announced a new presentation with a confirmed date and time.
This live broadcast is scheduled for Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the following times (subject to change):

The presentation will be available to watch on the official Diablo franchise channels across Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and TikTok.
This pre-launch showcase for the Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred expansion will reveal details about the new class skill trees, the Talisman system, the mechanics of the Horadric Cube, new endgame gameplay systems, and information about the game’s next season.
Players who watch the presentation with their Battle.net account linked will be eligible to receive exclusive drops: the Shattered Crown staff transmog after watching for 30 minutes, and the Dual Reckoning sword transmog after watching for one hour.
Diablo IV and its first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, are currently available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The new expansion, Lord of Hatred, is set to release on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, for the same platforms.
