British tennis player Daniel Evans was reportedly unhappy with comments made by American Jenson Brooksby following their recent match at the Eastbourne tournament.
Brooksby secured victory in the quarter-final encounter, winning 6-2, 6-3. During the customary handshake at the net after the match concluded, Jenson told his opponent, “Good match.”
In response, Daniel appeared displeased, frowning as he replied, “Not for me.”
The Briton is then reported to have exchanged further words with both the umpire and Brooksby, seemingly expressing his dissatisfaction with the American`s post-match remark. Brooksby reportedly responded with a smile, stating, “I didn`t do anything.”
