Nick Kyrgios was born in Canberra, Australia. His father, George, was an artist, and his mother, Norlaila, was a software developer. He has an older brother, Christos, and an older sister, Halimah.
Nick started playing tennis at the age of six. As a junior, he won one junior Grand Slam tournament and reached the No. 1 ranking in the junior world rankings.
Kyrgios turned professional in 2013. Since then, he has won seven ATP titles and earned $12,648,790 in prize money.
His best performance at a Grand Slam tournament was reaching the Wimbledon final in 2022. He achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 13 in October 2016. Currently, Kyrgios is ranked No. 635.
In doubles, Nick reached a career-high ATP ranking of No. 11. In 2022, he won the Australian Open men`s doubles title alongside Thanasi Kokkinakis. Due to knee and wrist injuries, Kyrgios has played only nine professional matches in the last eighteen months and is currently recovering.
