Norwegian tennis player Casper Ruud, ranked world No. 15, shared his cautious approach to taking medication, especially when traveling for tournaments.

He emphasized the importance of being very careful about what you take. “Sometimes, between tournaments or during a tournament itself, you can get sick,” Ruud explained. “That`s why I always bring my own medicine from Norway. I never buy anything in local shops because it`s a big risk. You don`t know what might be inside that preparation, what it contains; it could be contaminated.” Ruud`s comments were reported by Tennis World Italia.

Ruud also mentioned his participation in the ongoing ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Madrid (April 23 – May 4). He has advanced to the fourth round, where he is scheduled to play against American Taylor Fritz on April 29.
