April has already been an eventful month for Henry Cejudo.
Just over the weekend, Cejudo reportedly assisted in detaining a suspect who allegedly crashed into his neighbor`s property and then assaulted the neighbor. Now, Cejudo himself seems to be a victim of a crime.
On Tuesday, Dylan Rush, Cejudo`s producer, shared a video on Instagram stating that while Cejudo was sleeping in his studio, a burglar broke in and stole his first UFC championship belt.
According to Rush, the incident happened at 4:45 a.m. Rush was sleeping on the couch and initially mistook the burglar for Cejudo due to the darkness. He then heard a crash, realized it was an intruder, and the person fled.
Cejudo`s first UFC title victory was against Demetrious Johnson at UFC 227, where he won the flyweight belt. He later gained the bantamweight title at UFC 238 against Marlon Moraes. After a brief retirement in 2020, Cejudo returned to the UFC in 2023 and has since experienced three losses, most recently against Song Yadong at UFC Seattle in February.
