According to reports from the Spanish publication Hola, the separation of tennis stars Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas reportedly happened immediately following their respective defeats in the first round of Wimbledon.
A source close to the players indicated that the timing of the split coincided directly with their early exit from the prestigious tournament. “The split just happened,” the source stated. “Both lost in the first round of Wimbledon, and the timing coincided perfectly. They were each experiencing a challenging period professionally due to injuries, which significantly impacted their relationship.”
The source added that while the former couple is not currently on the best terms, which is a normal consequence of a breakup, they had initially started the year very positively before their “dream was shattered.”
Despite their efforts to save the relationship for the future, they were ultimately unsuccessful. The source highlighted that “ghosts from the past returned along with the injuries they both sustained,” contributing to the difficulties.
It was also emphasized that the decision to separate was a mature one, made by mutual agreement and without any third-party interference.
