Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka, currently ranked world number one, recently posted a new photograph on her social media channels. The image captures a moment from her time off.
The athlete had previously indicated her intention to spend a brief holiday period on the Greek island of Mykonos. She had mentioned these plans following her appearance in the final of the French Open (Roland Garros).
“More than perfect,” was the caption accompanying the shared photo.
In the final match of the prestigious Grand Slam tournament, Sabalenka was defeated by American opponent Coco Gauff with a score of 7/6(5), 2/6, 4/6. Following the match, Aryna commented critically on the weather conditions during the final and also suggested that Poland`s Iga Swiatek would have emerged victorious. These remarks from the tennis star generated considerable public discussion, with Gauff herself describing them as “strange.”
